Enjoy Design have designed this conversion of a redundant below ground surface water reservoir tank into a single residential dwelling. Located in open countryside, overlooking Bardsey and East Keswick, the dwelling has been designed wholly within the footprint of the existing concrete water tank.
The sensitive proposals retain the majority of the existing structure, opening up portions of the envelope for entrance glazing and puncturing holes for windows to take advantage of the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The design accommodates a central courtyard to introduce daylight into the heart of the living accommodation.
