Consisting of five individual, but interlinked buildings set around a communal landscaped space providing 750,000ft of space, with 620 apartments; a 215 key hotel, 50,000ft of offices and 25,000ft of mixed commercial space with onsite parking for 425 vehicles. The development forms a catalyst for the regeneration of Leeds’ eastern quarter, connecting the city with previously isolated communities.
Winner of the Leeds Award for Architecture 2008 its bold yet calm, rational aesthetic utilising the high gloss green cladding has become a definitive visual landmark to the eastern entrance to the city.
