The feasibility study for a three storey office building at Doncaster Lakeside providing headquarter facilities for a local business. The scheme provides 15,000sqft of open plan office accommodation on two upper floors with ground floor under-croft parking for 28 cars. A further 52 spaces are located in an adjacent surface car park.
The ‘tube’ concept for the main building is intended to frame the pleasant views towards the Lake with the north-south orientation utilising passive solar control techniques. The façade materials include rain-screen cladding & ribbon windows to the main elevations with the ends of the ‘tube’ expressed in glazed curtain walling.
